pillowmonsters: PART 2

So hopefully by now you've checked out Nichol's blog.

If not, STOP WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING (please) and marvel at her pillowmonsters here.

Now let me share with you the unbelievable photos (so the PHOTOS aren't unbelievable, but the pillowmonsters ARE) of our plush-pillowmonster-family!

Nana opened the box, wondering how she'd know which monster was which - but Nichol came through AGAIN with her amazing sense of color and zing!

 The little monsters were each wrapped in tissue paper (corresponding with the favorite color of the family member) and tagged with colored sketches of the pillowmonster inside. 

A few things were shared with Nichol about each family member and she incorporated it all into her plush likenesses. About Doug: has funky black glasses, fave color orange and he wears Converse lowtops whenever he can.

This little guy is everything I married and MORE!

About Lauren: fave color green, long blonde hair (it was long then but has since been cut), is known for her long legs and has light green eyes.

I wonder if Nichol could whip me up a shirt just like my plush gal pal?

I'm loving my lips!

About Trev: he draws pictures of himself as a superhero sometimes, likes the Cubs, has dimples and is shorter than Mamie - even though he's older and his fave color is baby blue. 

Too much! Nichol noted that maybe Trev's superpower could be the power to make Cubs tickets appear in his pocket any time he wanted! 

About Mames: fave color is pink (although her tissue was silver - she thought it rocked!) and she is learning to play her acoustic pink guitar, she has short blonde hair and prefers to wear skirts rather than jeans.

So cool! So perfect! It was as if Nichol HAD met her before!

About Heidi: likes wearing hats (her favorite is a crocheted turquoise one) and likes dresses and fairies, her fave color is purple and she has two small moles on the left of her neck.

LOOK! Fairy wings!

ADORABLE! Her pillowmonster has fairy wings AND matching moles!

Nana & Poppie unwrapped Cosmo (our cat) and Bleecker (our dog).

About Cosmo: she doesn't have an upper right fang so her lip always gets stuck up there

About Bleecker: we're big Irish ND fans and he wears a shamrock collar during football season

 

Bleecker's collar is perfect! And Cosmo really DOES look like that!

We're all thrilled with our pillowmonster family!
